HarmonicFlow

Chord sheets, setlists and live performance for worship teams and bands — ChordPro songs, transposing with capo, chord numbers, a live view, metronome, ambient pad, tuner and setlists shared with the whole band.

What it is

HarmonicFlow is the app I wanted on stage myself: one place for the songs, the setlist and everything the band needs while playing. Songs are stored in the open ChordPro format, so they stay yours and work in other apps too. Everything you need on stage is free — songs, setlists, the live view, transposing, metronome, tuner and an ambient pad, with no ads in the performance screens.

More about the app, the privacy policy and a ChordPro editor for the browser are on harmonicflow.mrjsa.com.

Songs

  • ChordPro songs — import, write and edit chord sheets in the open ChordPro format, from your phone or a cloud service. The editor shows a live preview while you type.
  • Song library — search all your songs, and from one menu edit a song, duplicate it as another version (a radio edit, an acoustic arrangement …) or add it to a setlist.
  • Transpose & capo — change the key in one tap, with the chords spelled correctly for the target key (B♭, not A♯), and play it with a capo. Key changes inside a song are followed, too.
  • Chord numbers — show chords as Nashville numbers or Roman numerals, so the band can play in any key.
  • Musician notes — notes for the whole band or just for one instrument, right where they belong in the song.
  • SongSelect & ChurchTools — import songs from CCLI SongSelect for free; with Premium, take the song order of a service from ChurchTools as a setlist.

On stage

  • Setlists — plan the songs for a service or a gig, with the key and notes for each song. The app opens the setlist you used last.
  • Live view — large, clean chord sheets for the stage. Swipe or use a page-turner pedal to go to the next song; columns, font size and sharps or flats can be set per song.
  • Metronome & ambient pad — a metronome and an ambient pad in the key of the song, right next to the chords. The Warm pad is free; Premium adds more sounds, including two with soft ocean waves and a breeze.
  • PDF export — print or send songs and whole setlists as PDF, in the font size you like, with guitar chord diagrams after the title or at the end.

Tools for musicians

  • Tuner & sound analyser — tune your instrument and see which notes are sounding. The audio never leaves your device.
  • Guitar chords — how to finger the chords most bands play, with up to three ways each: open position first, then the barre chords.
  • Key finder, instrument ranges and the most common chord progressions — quick references for rehearsal.

Premium: one subscription for the whole band

  • Cloud sync — songs and setlists stay the same on all your devices.
  • Shared setlists — share a setlist with your band by link or QR code. Everyone sees changes to the order, keys and band notes right away; capo, font size and other personal settings stay on each phone. One device plays the metronome and pad for the whole setlist.
  • Only the one who shares pays — band members join for free and receive every update; members with Premium can contribute keys, notes and songs themselves.

Made with care

  • Available in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese, with a light and a dark theme.
  • Works without an internet connection; sync runs in the background and never gets in the way on stage.
  • No advertising, analytics or tracking. The sync server runs on my own server in the EU, and the audio of tuner and sound analyser never leaves your phone.
