Privacy Policy

How this website handles your data — in short, as little as possible.

Last updated: 2026-10-24

1. Controller

The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

Joshua Schulz-Andres — MrJSA Technologies
Lessingstraße 2 D, 42499 Hückeswagen, Germany
E-mail: admin@mrjsa.com

We are not required to appoint a data protection officer.

2. Overview

This website is a static site. It uses no cookies, no analytics or tracking, no advertising and no third-party embeds. All fonts, images and scripts are delivered from our own server — your browser makes no requests to external services such as Google Fonts or CDNs.

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling (Art. 22 GDPR).

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by netcup GmbH, Emmy-Noether-Straße 10, 76131 Karlsruhe, Germany. The server is located in Austria (EU). We have concluded a data processing agreement with netcup in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

To deliver the website, your browser necessarily sends technical data to the server, in particular your IP address, the requested page, date and time, and your browser's user agent. This data is required to establish the connection and to display the website.

  • Our web server does not store IP addresses. For operational purposes it only logs the requested path, the HTTP status code and the response time.
  • Reverse proxy: Requests reach our web server through a reverse proxy (Caddy) on the same server, which handles the HTTPS encryption. It does not write access logs. Only if a request cannot be processed due to a technical error does it log an error message, which may contain your IP address, so that we can find and fix the error.

All server logs are automatically deleted after 7 days.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure, stable and reliable delivery of this website.

4. Encryption

This website uses TLS (HTTPS) encryption to protect the transmission of data. You can recognise an encrypted connection by "https://" and the lock symbol in your browser's address bar.

5. Local storage (theme setting)

If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the key theme. This value never leaves your device, is not transmitted to us and is not used for tracking. You can delete it at any time via your browser settings.

Storing this setting is strictly necessary to provide the function you explicitly requested, so no consent is required (§ 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG).

6. Contact by e-mail

If you contact us by e-mail, we process your e-mail address, your name (if provided) and the content of your message to handle your request.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your request relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures; otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

We delete the data once your request has been fully handled, unless statutory retention obligations apply (e.g. six or ten years for business letters and accounting records under § 257 HGB and § 147 AO).

E-mails are processed on our behalf by our e-mail provider IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, with whom we have concluded a data processing agreement in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

Our online shop at shop.mrjsa.com is a separate service operated by us; it has its own privacy policy, which applies when you visit the shop.

This website contains links to external websites, for example GitHub. No data is transferred to these providers when you merely visit our website. Only when you click a link will you leave our site, and the privacy policy of the respective provider applies there.

8. Recipients and transfers to third countries

We only pass on personal data to the processors named above (hosting, e-mail), who act on our instructions. We do not transfer personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA.

9. Apps

Each app has its own privacy policy, linked from its page under Apps.

10. Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • right of access (Art. 15 GDPR),
  • right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR),
  • right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
  • right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
  • right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): Where we process your data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

To exercise your rights, an informal message to the contact details above is sufficient.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is: Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (LDI NRW), Postfach 20 04 44, 40102 Düsseldorf, Germany — www.ldi.nrw.de.

11. Changes to this policy

We update this privacy policy when the website or the legal requirements change. The current version is always available on this page.
